The PHIUS+ 2015 Passive Building Standard targets the sweet spot where aggressive energy and carbon reduction overlap with cost effectiveness, taking into account a full range of variables including climate zone, source energy, and costs. The standard was developed over three years by the PHIUS Technical Committee and Building Science Corporation under a U.S. DOE Building America Grant. Believe it or not but passive house certification can certify more than just homes, new and existing building projects, as well as multifamily and commercial buildings all can benefit!
This presentation will cover the PHIUS+ 2015 Passive Building Standard — North America. Attendees will learn how and why the standard was developed as well as certification statics and requirements for the standard.
