Imagine your own in-home green education session!
A GreenHome Inspection includes a review of your home’s sustainability features through the lens of the five pillars of green.
Within 2 – 3 hours, we determine ways you be more comfortable, save energy, improve health, reduce utility bills and improve the durability of your home. We give recommendations on how and where to improve your home. Then, if everything is updated, you could earn an official GreenStar Homes Certification or be eligible for other rebates or tax incentives.
The Inflation Reduction Act Tax Credit 25c could give you 30% money back for the cost of the audit. Learn more and consult your tax advisor.

You will receive a report similar to this with your home features, energy use, emissions, and ways to save energy or improve your home.
Once you complete the work from your contractor, we can come back out and re-inspect your home to determine if the contractor’s work met the green goals, and you could gain an increased home energy score and potentially certify today.
How do I determine my Home Energy Score?
“The Home Energy Score is similar to a vehicle’s miles-per-gallon rating. The Home Energy Score allows homeowners to compare the energy performance of their homes to other homes nationwide. It also provides homeowners with suggestions for improving their homes’ efficiency.
The process starts with a Home Energy Score Assessor collecting energy information during a brief home walk-through. Using the Home Energy Scoring Tool, developed by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the Assessor scores the home on a scale of 1 to 10. A score of 10 indicates that the home has excellent energy performance. A score of 1 indicates the home needs extensive energy improvements.” – DOE
